At MDDP, we understand that injuries can occur, and we want to support our dancers during their recovery while maintaining fairness in our membership policies. Please review our guidelines regarding membership pauses due to injuries:

1. Injury-Related Membership Pauses

   • If a member sustains an injury and is unable to participate in classes, they may request a membership pause for up to two months.

   • To be eligible for this pause, the member must provide a doctor’s note verifying the injury and the recommended recovery period.

   • Membership pauses due to injury will not count toward the standard membership commitment period.

2. Non-Injury Membership Pauses

   • After completing the first three months of membership, members may request a one-month pause per calendar year without providing a doctor's note or reason.

   • This one-month pause must be requested 10 days in advance of their auto-renew date and will be granted at the studio’s discretion based on membership status and class availability.

3. Additional Membership Pause Terms

   • Membership pauses do not qualify for refunds, but any unused class credits from the paused period will carry over for use upon the member’s return.

   • Requests for membership pauses must be submitted in writing to admin@marylanddanceproject.com.

   • The studio reserves the right to review and approve all membership pause requests on a case-by-case basis.
